I disassembled it, and found that the planet-gear carrier had worn out. I sent multiple parts over to ORS, which set me up with a replacement carrier, sunwheel, and related parts. All done quickly and professionally. After they shipped the parts back, they continued to assist me with the proper procedures for reassembly and getting the unit functioning again. I can't say enough great things. Recommend them without hesitation.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. sometimes things go wrong. We had a problem with a gearbox that overdrive repair services had recondioned. To say they pulled all the stops out is an understatement. These guys are simply excellent!Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First class service, they repaired my overdrive while I watched. They have all the equipment as well as static test rigs. Old school type company at its best. If it can be fixed they will do it. Highly recommendedPosted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fanatics service. Needed my overdrive refurbished asap for an event. They managed to do it in 2 days. It like new now. Highly recommended.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a great company. I bought a rebuilt blue label overdrive from them. Beautiful work, and prompt.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These guys are awesome. The workshop is a fascinating place to see and their work is excellent. I had my type A overdrive restored by them ten years ago and it's never missed a beat. They are real enthusiasts and are happy to share their in depth knowledge.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rebuilt TR4 box to alleged high power spec crashed out in 60 miles total failure and masses of swarf. Overdrive would not disengage from day 1. Replaced with their rebuilt stag box as emergency swop this has now done 400 miles and heavy swarf now detected on oil drain plug at oil check change. It is absolutely gutting the money these units cost and the time to pull out and put in gearboxes. Should have just asked for refund and taken my original box elsewhere where skills are better.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just picked up a beautifully reconditioned Triumph TR3 gearbox & overdrive unit after discovering my car had an incorrect saloon spec fitted in its past. The guys in Overdrive Repair Services were superb and I'd highly recommend using them !Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best in the business, second to no one. I have needed their help in the past and was very impressed that time. Nearly twenty years later I needed their help and expertise again. My opinion and expectations haven't changed one single bit. Many thanks to you all for sorting a very sick overdrive unit. The car now drives as it should. Probably better.Posted on
