I disassembled it, and found that the planet-gear carrier had worn out. I sent multiple parts over to ORS, which set me up with a replacement carrier, sunwheel, and related parts. All done quickly and professionally. After they shipped the parts back, they continued to assist me with the proper procedures for reassembly and getting the unit functioning again. Rebuilt TR4 box to alleged high power spec crashed out in 60 miles total failure and masses of swarf. Overdrive would not disengage from day 1. Replaced with their rebuilt stag box as emergency swop this has now done 400 miles and heavy swarf now detected on oil drain plug at oil check change. It is absolutely gutting the money these units cost and the time to pull out and put in gearboxes.
